The School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics celebrated its grand Alumni Meet on 20 and 21 November 2025, bringing together graduates, faculty, and students for two days of reconnecting, reflection, and celebration. The event highlighted the rapid growth of the School and strengthened the bond between its global community of scholars and innovators.
The meet was inaugurated by the Honorary Director of the School, Prof. (Dr.) Bindu V. R., who emphasized the importance of alumni involvement in shaping the future of the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence and robotics. In her address, she highlighted how alumni success continues to inspire current students and contributes immensely to the School’s reputation and progress.
The two-day event featured a vibrant lineup of cultural programs, showcasing the creativity and talent of participants from various Schools across the University. Competitions, artistic performances, and interactive activities added color and energy to the celebration, encouraging collaboration and fostering a spirit of unity among the attendees. A key highlight of the meet was the official unveiling of the Alumni Association’s name — “AIRA” (Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Alumni Association). The announcement was met with excitement and pride, symbolizing a new chapter of collective identity and collaboration for past and present members of the School.
The Alumni Meet 2025 concluded with renewed connections, shared memories, and a strengthened vision for the future. AIRA is expected to serve as a dynamic platform for networking, mentorship, collaborative projects, and continued engagement between the School and its alumni community.
