The School organized an invited talk on “Introduction to Quantum Computing” on 29th August 2024. The resource person was Dr. N S Sreekanth, Associate Professor, Kannur University. Participants were inspired to pursue interdisciplinary research opportunities in quantum computing.

The School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics offered a bridge course on “Python Programming” starting from 9th July 2024 (30 hours). The first semester students from diverse branches, benefitted from this to bridge the gap in their domain knowledge of Python programming. The students from U3A, Kottayam visited the School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics on 14th May 2024 as part of an experiential learning initiative. The School Conducted a virtual workshop by C-DAC on “PARAM UTKARSH SUPERCOMPUTING’ on 13 December 2022 . This workshop covered the advanced  supercomputing facilities offered by C-DAC, PARAM , Hardware architecture etc.  

The School Conducted a three Day NVIDIA Advanced Deep Learning Workshop in association with  NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) from 02-November-2022 to 04-November-2022. The workshop covered advanced deep learning concepts through hands-on exercises in NVIDIA Deep Stream, NVIDIA TensorRT Inference, NVIDIA TAO Toolkit, Docker Pulling, Containers and Orchestration etc.           

Conducted  a two Day  Deep Learning workshop in association with  NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) on 01-June-2022 and 02-June-2022. The workshop covered deep learning works through hands-on exercises in computer vision and natural language processing, training of  deep learning models from scratch, state-of-the-art pre-trained models etc.
