Induction Program for First Semester MSc. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (2024-26 batch) – 08/07/2024

• PTA Meeting

The PTA meeting for parents and teachers (MSc Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, 2024-26 batch) of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics was held on 8^th July 2024 at 11 am. The Honorary Director, Prof. Dr. Bindu V R, addressed the students, teachers and parents, introduced all faculty members and provided all necessary information and guidance regarding the academic program.

• University Library

A visit to the university library was arranged to familiarise students with the functioning of the library on 29^th July 2024. The session began with a detailed orientation on the library’s working, layout, and rules, followed by a hands-on demonstration in the lab on how to search for books and refine queries using the library catalog. The session equipped students with essential skills to effectively utilize university library resources.

• Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (BIIC)

As a part of induction program, School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics arranged an orientation class offered by the Business Innovation and Incubation Centre on 6^th August 2024. The session offered guidance and motivation for aspiring students to become entrepreneurs.

• Familiarization of workstation, NVIDIA DGX A100

A session on familiarization of the workstation, NVIDIA DGX A100 was arranged as part of induction on 12^th August 2024 led by Mr. Faizal B, Technical Assistant. The session demonstrated how the workstation can be utilized for advanced computational tasks, empowering students to leverage its capabilities for their projects and research.
